Biography

Maroesja Perizonius is a Dutch documentary director with a background in journalism and copywriting, and so works across the board. She has also worked as a documentary researcher, fundraiser, assistant-producer, producer and non-fiction writer.

Foundation 26000 Faces invited directors to make short films of asylum seekers who have exhausted all legal remedies. In doing so, they managed to rock the political balance on this issue. The project aroused a lot of attention with the television broadcast of the first 75 films. 2006
