Biography

Marc Coleman is a multi award winning comedy writer/director from Dagenham. His debut feature film ‘ManFish' was a film festival hit in 2022 and went on to win 'best feature' at the prestigious Sci-Fi London film festival. The film premiered on Shudder in march of 2023 and was nominated for “Best Independent Feature' at the 2023 National Film Awards. Marc's sophomore feature ‘Members Club' premiered in Leicester Sq at FrightFest in August 2024 and stars Perry Benson, Steve Oram, Juliet Cowan, David Schaal, Alan Ford and Peter Andre! The film debuted on demand in October 2024 with Sci-Fi Now Magazine giving the film four stars and The Guardian calling it "weirdly watchable". Marc has a strong sense of visual comedic style and makes grounded in reality genre films, predominantly about working class characters. He utilises his years as a prop maker to incorporate weird props and set pieces into his films, which in turn leads them to having a unique edge.
