Biography

A BA film production graduate. Post university I would develop my writing skills, producing short screenplays and directing a short fiction film, which was selected and screened at short film festivals around the UK. In 2022/23 I completed the PACT Indie diversity scheme after working in TV at Fremantle Ltd for almost a year. Here I gained valuable experience in Production and development, working at Scripted drama label Euston Films. This year I was selected for TogetherTV’s Diverse Film Fund initiative, to make a short 14 minute documentary that would be broadcast live on TogetherTV and on Channel 4’s coverage of the Paris 2024 Paralympics coverage. My short “ALT Jay”, focuses on disability and sport, explored through the lens of identical twin brothers. It was my documentary directorial debut and would go on to be screened at the 2024 BFI London Film Festival. As a filmmaker, I am most passionate about telling stories of social change, exploring untold stories and drawing on my own lived experiences.
