Biography

Joe was born and raised in Mochdre, North Wales, and as a bisexual male filmmaker, his work focuses around themes of identity, legacy and home. His career began in front of the camera, working as an actor for ten years, before deciding to retrain as a director. As a result, Joe loves casting and working with actors - priding himself in his character work in both his writing and directing. He has directed three short films to date, his debut short ‘SUBS’ was nominated and won multiple BAFTA & BIFA qualifying festivals including best Student Short at the Manchester Film Festival. His latest short ‘HOUSE HUNTERS’ received sponsorship from MOLINARE, and is currently in its festival run.
