Biography
Iesh is a multifaceted writer and director known for his work across film, television, and video games. His journey in filmmaking has been marked by acclaim at prestigious international festivals such as The BFI London Film Festival, Aspen Shortfest, and Palm Springs, among others. Supported by institutions like Film London, The BFI Network, and The Sundance Institute, Iesh has also garnered recognition from the likes of ESPN, The Tribeca Film Institute, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
Named one of the UK’s ‘Lodestars’ rising stars of cinema, Iesh's accolades include being a BAFTA LA Scholar/Newcomer recipient, a John Brabourne Award awardee, and the winner of the 2017 Ezra Litwak Award for distinction in screenwriting. Recently, he participated in prestigious programs such as the BFI NETWORK x BAFTA CREW scheme, Film Independent Screenwriting Lab, and Fast Track finance market. He has also served as a mentee and mentor for the '1497' South Asian features talent incubator lab.
In addition to his film and TV endeavors, Iesh has made significant contributions to the video game industry, working as a writer and voice/performance capture director for titles including Dragon’s Dogma 2, Watch Dogs Legion, Hitman 2, and The Division 2. His clients have included renowned companies such as Capcom, Ubisoft, Massive Entertainment, and IO Interactive.
A graduate of the MFA Film program at Columbia University, School of the Arts, in New York City, Iesh is currently engaged in several exciting projects. These include developing his debut feature 'Alien Kulture', and working on a television series based on the award-winning novel 'We That Are Young' in collaboration with Gaumont.
