Biography
Having been shown JAWS at the (totally appropriate) age of 7, like so many filmmakers, John Ferrer was inspired to go out and make his own films. Going as far as trying to recreate JAWS in school (a problematic endeavour without a beach at hand, but not to fret, we used toilets for the shark to emerge from).
Keeping up this resourceful and often zany approach to filmmaking, John ventured into university to study film (where he now works part time as a teacher) at MET Film School. Through this, he has kept up his pursuit of indie film productions ever since. Intimate rom-com or big action-horror, you name it, he's done it (in his own guerrilla filmmaking way). His hopes are to keeping bringing indie-filmmaking sensibilities forward on to the bigger projects one day.
