Biography

Catherine is an actress and writer-director based in London. She dreams of living by the sea and changes hair colour when she feels too many feelings. Her dreams and grocery lists are a mix of English, French and mysterious. Her latest short film, Amazonas, follows the different lives of women living around the Amazon river, and was produced by Playlab Films during the 2022 Creators Lab led by Apichatpong Weerasethakul. In 2020, her miniseries, What We Talk About When We Talk About Sex, was selected at Series Mania (Lille, France) and Seriencamp (Munich, Germany) Festivals. The same year, she started developing a fiction series set in the contemporary dance world, Premiere. It was one of the ten selected projects at this year's Eureka Series program. As an actress, she has been the lead of short films screened at the BFI London (UK), Tallinn Film Festival (Estonia), Luxembourg Film Festival, with smaller roles in feature films. She is currently touring with company As We Are for the physical theatre play Shoot the Cameraman (France, Luxembourg, Spain).
