Biography
Aggie is a Bristol-based Kenyan filmmaker with directing, producing and editing credits in . both short and long form TV and film content.
Her directing credits include a feature film ’LISILOJULIKANA’ (The Unknown) made for the UK-Based charity Purple Field Productions, which was dubbed into various languages for a wider audience and later won the Dodi Spital award at the Picture This Film Festival in Canada (2018).
Other directing credits include a soap operas (JANE & ABEL), comedy series (NEWS JUST IN), a sitcom (UREMBO) and short films like ‘SQUEAKY BIKE’ and more recently, ‘VACANT’. She also co-created, produced and released comedy/thriller ‘JANJARUKA’, which tackles living with con and corruption in Kenya.
Recent work includes co-producing 2024 feature documentary ‘RAVE ON FOR THE AVON’, a film about the love that a local community have for the river and their fight towards protecting their local swimming spot from sewage pollution.
Aggie is currently working on ‘ADAM TO EVE’, a Kenyan comedy drama series about a man who wakes up a woman following a spell someone has put on him to teach him a lesson.
