Sabina Sattar

Currently, Line Producer for Honey Bee Media, delivering shows for C5 & Sky History including ROSS KEMP: DEEP SEA TREASURE HUNTER & HOW DO THEY REALLY DO IT series. Produced feature SUMMER SCARS, nominated for Best Film at BAFTA Cymru. Line produced the feature BLUE IGUANA starring Sam Rockwell and also line produced the feature, VENGEANCE IS MINE starring Con O’Neill.

Directing: I am in post production on my debut feature MUM SAID, a family comedy, as Writer, Director and Producer. Previously, I have written & produced 4 short films and directed 3 of them. FLOWERS & SWOOSH! combined, have been selected in 90+ international festivals & won several awards whilst THE QUESTION made the long list in the Reed Short Film Competition, a national campaign. I have also sold all my short films. 

Writing: My feature comedy, BEG TO DIFFER won the Silver Prize at the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards & is currently being packaged by as POOR CHOICES with Canadian director, Jerry Ciccoritti (SCHITT’S CREEK) attached. Was commissioned to adapt Bapsi Sidwha’s novel, ‘The Pakistani Bride’ for Pulse Media. Done rewrite commissions for leading Malaysian company, Pesona Pictures on their historical epic, REGALIA & Vision Works on their WWII drama  SANDAKAN TEARS about the notorious POW camp. Audible commissioned my script, CRIMES & RHYMES as a pilot for their original sit-com strand.

Other experience includes being Head of Production at Central Film School, for 7 years, overseeing all productions, resources as well as academic delivery, course development & courses cost analysis for the finance dept.
