Biography
Julius Amedume is a Ghanaian-British Award-winning Writer and Director of Film and Television. He started making films at a young age and turned a passion into a career spanning more than 20 years. Julius holds a Bachelor of Science with honours in Communication and Technology and a Masters in Directing Fiction from the prestigious National Film & Television School in the United Kingdom. His work so far has gained more than 45 nominations around the world and he has won more than 21 awards. His diverse range of storytelling aims to entertain, educate and inspire his viewers to think deeply about social issues and often explores themes that incorporate choices, morality, self-discovery and deep aspects of the human condition. He creates masterful moments of social realism that embrace genre conventions, which resonate in the minds of the audience well after they have been viewed and digested.
