Biography
A Screen International Star of Tomorrow and award winning filmmaker whose first short film A Short Guide to Re-Entry went on to win both the Bill Douglas Award and the International Audience Award at Glasgow Short Film Festival. His second film Templates made in conjunction with Film London and the BFI Network premiered at Encounters Film Festival.
He was selected for the 34th session of the Cannes Cinefondation Residence in Paris where he developed the script for a feature film - The Unwanted - in development with the BFI and BBC Films. He has a Producer credit on the documentary 'Things We Won’t Say About Race That Are True', which won a Grierson Award.
He has been selected for the talent labs at Edinburgh International Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival and his poetry has been published in literary journals. His latest feature length film project The Nazarene is currently in development with Film4.
