Biography
Victor Fraga is a Brazilian-born and London based journalist and filmmaker.
He is the founder and the directors of DMovies (www.DMovies), a platform-agnostic portal for cinema and one of the leading indie movie publications in the UK, founded in 2016. He previously worked for The Guardian as senior writer for nearly seven years,
He has directed two documentaries: The Coup d'Etat Factory (2021) and The Flour Test (2022). The first movie deals with media manipulation and the collapse of Brazilian democracy, drawing pertinent parallels to the UK and the rest of the world. The second movie investigates an experiment that the Brazilian military utilised in order to degrade gay man during the dictatorship that ruled the country for 21 years.
He is working on two further political documentaries in 2023.
