Biography

Jack Norris is an award-winning writer and director working across drama and commercials. His films have won a Royal Television Society Award, been featured on Sky Arts and NowTV, and screened at BIFA and IFTA-accredited festivals. Specialising in crafting authentic, character-driven stories, Jack has a distinctive talent for making niche subjects resonate with broad audiences. His films explore complex social themes with empathy and a meticulous eye for detail, engaging viewers on a deep, emotional level. Renowned for his calm and insightful directing style, Jack’s empathetic approach consistently draws “incredible performances” from both actors and crew, resulting in “really powerful” cinematic work. Jack is a proud member of BAFTA Connect and Directors UK. He has recently been selected for the prestigious Directors UK Inspire mentorship scheme. A dual British and Irish citizen, Jack works across the UK and Ireland from his bases in Birmingham, Manchester, and London.
