The Directors' Festival 2015 announced

Following the huge success of our first ever festival last year, we're very pleased to announce that the Directors' Festival will return on Saturday 11 July.

Scripted Comedy

How do you make ‘funny’ lift off the page? Comedy director Ed Bye (Red Dwarf, Vicious, The Vicar of Dibley) and others will discuss how you make funny even funnier. Moderated by Christine Gernon (Gavin & Stacey, Up the Women, Grandma's House).

Great Interviews

Award-winning documentary directors Louise Osmond (Dark Horse, Richard III: The King in the Car Park), Vanessa Engle (Money, Inside Harley Street) and Brian Hill (The Not Dead, Climate of Change, The Secret History of Our Streets) discuss how to get the best out of interviews and contributors.

Screening: Amy

A members-only screening of Senna director Asif Kapadia’s hotly-anticipated documentary about Amy Winehouse.
