Recognition for Directors UK members among BAFTA Scotland nominations

The nominees for the BAFTA Scotland awards have been announced, and the we’re pleased to see that the directing categories feature plenty of Directors UK members. 

In the Director: Factual category, members John MacLaverty and Matt Pinder are nominated for Scotland 78: A Love Story and Violent Men: Behind Bars respectively. Both programmes have also received second nominations, Single Documentary for the former and Features and Factual Series for the latter. Felipe Bustos Sierra is also nominated in the Director: Factual category for Nae Pasaran

Meanwhile, in the Director: Fiction category, member Armando Iannucci is nominated for The Death of Stalin (alongside another nomination for Writer Film/Television) while member Colm McCarthy is nominated for Black Mirror: Black Museum. Matt Palmer completes the category with Calibre.
