Our first event of 2016 will be a screening of feature documentary Bolshoi Babylon followed by a Q&A with director Nick Read.
Our screening takes place at the Charlotte Street Hotel in London, 7pm on Thursday 14 January.
Bolshoi Babylon explores the backstage drama at Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre throughout 2013, when the corruption and political intrigue surrounding the company led to dancer Pavel Dimitrichenko carrying out a vicious acid attack on Ballet Director Sergei Filin.
Join us for a discussion between Nick Read and Directors UK Vice-Chair Tom Roberts, find out how the film was made and how Nick got access to such a prestigious Russian institution.
