Directors UK at the Edinburgh International Television Festival

Reading time: 2 minutes and 20 seconds

High-end TV needs high-end talent. But where’s the cash? Directors UK will be at this year’s Edinburgh International Television Festival to discuss the importance of nurturing, developing and finding the best high-end TV drama talent.

This expert panel, featuring Directors UK CEO Andrew Chowns and director Christiana Ebohon-Green, will discuss how executives can find and develop the best talent, and relate their first-hand experiences of what it’s like to move onto high-end TV.

You’ll also be able to find out about the new funding that’s available through the HETV Skills Levy that supports two talent programmes for high-end TV producers and directors.

The session will be followed by informal networking drinks where you can find out more about the funding and programme content, as well as get the chance to meet the mentee directors from last year’s Directors UK programme and our emerging pool of high-end TV producers and co-producers.
