In December last year Directors UK co-hosted a music rights workshop with music library and supplier Audio Network, at a very well-attended event.
The workshop, hosted by Audio Network’s Director of Publishing Simon Anderson, examined the value music can add to a film, and the different types of music available to producers and directors.
Simon took members through the rather complicated world of rights clearances, and gave tips and advice on licence term, territories and platforms. He was also on hand to answer a number of questions from the many members in attendance, with the session lasting more than two hours.
Our thanks to those members who attended, and to Audio Network for their time and expertise.
