Following on from the success of our previous session at Sony, Pinewood Studios, we are once again teaming up with Final Pixel Academy, as well as Nightsky Studios, to offer up to 30 members of Directors UK the opportunity to take part in their 1 Day Virtual Production Insider training.

Rapid advances in film and media production technologies mean it’s more important than ever for directors to feel confident and comfortable with virtual production practices.
This training is designed for mid-senior level directors working in both scripted and unscripted, and offers an opportunity to build knowledge, exchange insights and gain practical hands-on experience with virtual production expertise and technologies.
The Virtual Production Insider aims to provide a space for building robust networks, knowledge sharing and best-practice, and focused VP discussions/project developments with a global community operating at the cutting-edge of creativity and technology.

• Technological advancements such as real-time rendering
• New production techniques where virtual production involves combining traditional filmmaking techniques with cutting-edge digital environments

• Maintaining high-quality outputs and fostering creativity
• Exploring and developing existing skills, plus new learning to enhance directing craft
• Cost management when working with virtual production technologies and environments

Applicants must be a member of Directors UK. Priority will be given to applicants based in Scotland.
