Mentoring is an incredibly powerful and focused form of developing talent. The relationship works on honesty, openness and using an experienced person to guide personal growth. This session, organised in partnership with Northern Film + Media, will look at establishing what mentoring is and how mentoring relationships work. A mentoree gets out of a mentoring relationship what they put into it. As an outcome of the session, people will be able to prepare for and develop productive mentoring relationships with their mentors to help them build their careers.

This session will clarify the role and responsibilities of the mentoree and the mentor to ensure productive and positive mentor relationships.

Apply for a place by registering for a ticket here, then emailing your CV to [email protected]

Refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day.

Directors UK members applying from the North East will be given priority to attend this event.
