Self shooting and editing this 45' programme, I followed Bill and Ann of Small World Theatre as they worked with the underprivileged of Cardigan in West wales on the annual pageant in the town. The people made the various objects for the parade, from a 12 foot high man, to a giant pink Crab. It was great fun to work on this project, and meet the people involved.

A TV observational documentary project with the Environment Agency. I shot and edited this 'tongue-in-cheek' taster 25' DVD interviewing and following the local Bailiff, canoeists, legitimate fishermen, and shady characters who, masquerading as licensed fishermen, I had been reliably informed were actually poachers. The 3 parter series was intended for broadcast, and I had full access and permissions from the Environment Agency. Touting the project to BBC Wales, C4 and independents, I was unable to get a commission, but the project is still live.

Working for the Central Office of Information, I worked as a writer/director on this science series between 1986 and 1989 which tried to emulate 'Horizon'. The programmes, funded by the foreign office, were sold to foreign TV to promote UK technology. I had a fun time coming up with ideas, presenting them to the series producer, and traveling across the UK to factories at Rolls Royce, Shell and institutions such as Belfast University. We had a 2 week shoot, and a 4 week edit, which was quite generous.

The very last time Russell Harty appeared on camera. I was fortunate enough to work with him, and see how he put strangers at their ease when he interviewed them. Commissioned by British Airways and made through Original Image, it was shown on inbound flights, promoting London and the environs with places to go and visit. I was also lucky enough to direct interviews with Sir Michael Hordern, and Jeffery Archer.

I produced, wrote and directed this short comedy film, with 4 actors, and a 4 man crew. Shot on 16mm around Holland Park, it describes the dilemas a Traffic Warden can fall into. I managed to sell the film to Rank, 35mm prints were made, and it was due to go out with the Paul Newman Film 'Fort Apache the Bronx'. Unfortunately, there were contract issues, and it stalled. However, I sold it to HBO in 1983 where it went out between features for 3 years.
