ANDY WOOD – BIO 2024
Andy Wood is a Director and Line Producer, specialising in Light Entertainment, Music and Sport.
Recent Director credits include The Official Doctor Who Podcast (BBC Studios) Traitors: Uncloaked official podcast (BBC TWO), Rivals: The Official Podcast, Lindsey Stirling; Duality the Concert Film, FC25 Launch - EA Sports, Sinatra the Musical, BBC Introducing @ Glastonbury, Asake live at the O2 (youtube), Beverly Knight (BK50), Razorlight at Hammersmith Apollo and Dermot Kennedy for TikTok.
As a Line Producer, Andy has project managed the filming of FC25 launch for EA Studios, Saudi National Orchestra & RPO (MBC), Sidemen FC vs Youtube All Stars ’22 & ’23 (41 million youtube views), Pepsi Champions League Show 2021 & 2024, Noel Gallagher at Wythenshawe Park, The Ivor Novello Awards, Burna Boy at KOKO, Olivia Dean at KOKO, Outlander - Red Carpet, Amazon Music Festive Fundraiser, A Little Life and Macbeth for cinemas.
He is one of the UK’s most experienced Livestream Producers, having overseen hundreds of livestreams for Amazon Music, ONAIR, DICE, Ticketmaster, Universal Records, Twitch, Moment House, KOKO and the BBC.
His livestream projects for England and The FA on ‘Lionesses Live’ across Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram and for Sidemen FC vs Youtube All Stars were both nominated for Broadcast Sports Awards.
Andy has worked with A-list talent such as Paul McCartney, Adele, J Lo, Kylie, Robbie Williams, Keanu Reeves and Eric Bana and created content for many of the world’s leading brands including; O2, Coca-Cola, Michelin, NatWest, HSBC, Lego, Philips, Nestle, NOWTV, Mondelez, Expedia, Nike, Abbey Road and L’Oreal.
He has Produced visualised radio projects such as BBC 6 Music Live, BBC Radio2 in Concert, Sounds of the ‘80s, BBC 6Music Hub Sessions, BBC Asian Network Melas and specials for BBC Radio 1 from Foals, Mary J Blige and the Electric Proms.
His audio project management credits include Concert for Ukraine (ITV), Mobo Awards (BBC), Global Citizen (BBC), Live from Worthy Farm (Cinema release), Rocky Horror Show (Cinema) alongside visualised podcasts for BBC Introducing, The Athletic and Amazon Music.
He led digital content production company Silver Bullet Entertainment for a decade, establishing the business as one of the UK’s pre-eminent content creators; overseeing productions for major international publishers and broadcasters including BBC, SKY, Verizon Media, Facebook, Mail Online and Channel 4.
Additionally, Andy has been a Director at a number of digital/broadcast companies including GRM Daily, Virtual Festivals, Whizz Kid Entertainment and Sassy Films.
Some of Andy’s best known producer credits include the worldwide ‘viral’ video of Liam Gallagher making a cup of tea and Amy Winehouse’s acoustic performance of Back to Black which has surpassed 31 million youtube views.
